Web Design 101 Level 1, Level 2

Design and code your own web site. Using object oriented programming, HTML and CSS learn how to build a web site from scratch. Learn about user stories, user experience and wire frames. Develop the coding skills that will be vital for future success.
Web Design 101 (Level 1)
This course is designed for kids who have some coding experience and would like to learn how to create web site using code. This course focuses on introducing the coding language HTML and CSS which is commonly used in web design. They will learn the basics of HTML and create their own web site in no time.
Web Design 101 (Level 2)
Building on concepts and knowledge gained in the “Web Design 101 Level 1” course, your child will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the HTML and CSS coding languages. In this course they will continue developing their understanding through the addition of more complex features, animations, slide shows etc, bringing their websites to life.
Web Design 101 (Level 3)
The third part of the Web Design 101 courses, this course builds on the skills developed in the previous 2 parts. In this course they will take their web site coding skills to the next level as we cover topics such as hosting, user experience, etc.
Suitable for ages 10+ and have experience writing with a coding language.
This course requires previous coding experience.
Lunch (if attending the full day course), Snacks (no nuts please), and a drink. We provide all the computers.

6 Saturdays (1.5 hours per session)
By the successful completion of these courses you will be ready to design and build your own Web applications or move on to the next level of Web Design.
