Course Information

Overview

Python is a widely used high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming language, which means it can be used to build just about anything. Python is great for backend web development, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and scientific computing. Many developers have also used Python to build productivity tools, games, and desktop apps.

This course is a fantastic starting point for learning the Coding language, Python. Learn how to Code with Python, create games and build programs, through the power of code.

Introduction to Python (Level 1)
This course is designed for students who have done some coding before and have a basic understanding of how to Coding works. By the end of the course they will be able to create basic programs and games, through the language of Python.

Introduction to Python (Level 2)
Building on previous knowledge gained in “Intro to Python (Level 1)”, the learner will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how the Python code can be used to create more complex programs. Here we continue to develop knowledge of the Python language by learning how to create visual images and animations with the final goal of creating their first visual Python code game.

Introduction to Python (Level 3)
Taking what has been covered over the past few courses we dive further in to Python Game design making more complex games and programs using visual images and animations.

Introduction to Python (Level 4)
The final part of the Introduction to Python levels, here they will express what they have learnt through the creation of their own programs. With the support of the tutors, the learner will have the opportunity to create programs that demonstrate what they have learnt throughout the levels.
