Games Coding (Wednesday) – Term 4 2020 (Rosetta Primary)

Here you will have the choice of 2 possible courses (depending on your child’s interest and abilities). Both courses will be run at the same time and in the same room.
Intro to Mobile Games:
This course is for the beginner Coder who wants to make games for others to play. Using drag and drop coding, kids will have the chance to make a number of games. If they have a passion to make games and if they have never coded before then this is the course for them.
OR
Intro to Game Design:
Introduction to Game Design is the first part of our gaming courses using GameMaker Studio 2. In this course kids will have the chance to learn about game design, sprites, animations, levels, etc. Throughout the different levels we will build brick breaker games, maze games, scrolling shooter games, and platform games, just to mention a few.
6 Sessions: Wednesday’s (3:00pm to 4:30pm)
Levels Available: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4
NB: This course is open to Rosetta Primary Students Only
