DESCRIPTION:2 Full Days: 9:00am to 3:00pm\nNB: This course is open to any student \nThe first part of our gaming courses using GameMaker Studio 2. In this course kids will have the chance to learn about game design\, sprites\, animations\, levels\, etc.\nLevels Available: (Each level is a separate enrolment and takes 2 Full days to complete.) \n\n\nLevel 101\nIntroducing the software Game Maker Studio 2\, here we explore the layout of the program and what everything does. Through the creation of 2 games this course focuses on the basic concepts around game design\, sprites\, collision events and more.\n\n\n\n\nLevel 102\nHere we continue to develop their knowledge of Game Design through the creation of maze style games. Using more complex controls\, enemies\, player tracking\, multiple rooms etc\n\n\n\n\nLevel 103\nIn this course they will take their gaming design skills to the next level with the introduction of scrolling backgrounds\, simple AI mechanics\, complex collision events\, sprite changes\, and much more in the aim of creating a scrolling shooter game of their own creation.\n\n\n\n\nLevel 104\nThe final of our Intro to Game Design levels\, here they will express what they have learnt through the creation of platformer style games using more complex controls\, gravity\, player tracking\, multiple rooms etc.
