Move away from building basic games with predetermined settings, and have the opportunity to code more complex games.Â
Levels Available: (Each level is a separate enrolment and takes 2 Full days to complete.)
- Level 201
Introducing the next level of Game Maker Studio 2, here we explore the text coding and what can be achieved. Through the creation of a top down shooter style game this course focuses on introducing the Game Maker Language.
- Level 202
Here we continue to develop their knowledge of the Game Maker Language through the creation of and endless runner style game using more complex controls, gravity, player tracking, random spawning etc.
- Level 203
Here we take things further as we explore the world of RPG style games. Focusing on map creation and layout design this course will really start to bring out the talented game designer in your child.
- Level 204
Here we continuing building on with the game they started in Level 3. Adding extra parts to their game, giving it a story-line and focusing on game play, we examine the story-line of the game and introduce the use of algorithms to assist with planning and designing their own RPG.
